I'm Erick Florez, a Mexican-American portrait and documentary photographer. After years working in the United States, I recently returned to Mexico and settled in Nuevo Pantoja, a pueblo in Guanajuato's Bajío region.

I photograph people and the places they belong to — environmental portraits, editorial assignments, and long-form documentary work. I'm currently building an ongoing project on daily life in the Bajío. Alongside personal work, I shoot commercial and hospitality projects for hotels, restaurants, and brands across the San Miguel de Allende region.

The work is grounded and specific. I'm drawn to real light and real moments, and I try to make pictures that hold up without explanation.
